Psilocybin tea reading

The psilocybin tea reading invites embodied knowledge of an online mycelian infrastructure to decolonize hierarchical worldmaking and collectively hallucinate new imaginaries.

The readings of science fiction by Octavia E. Butler are analyzed with language-based AI. Connecting to image searches, the spoken is matched to indexed results - engaging in a collective act of lucid dreaming towards more hopeful future.

Originally produced for Mycological Twist's Myco TV in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and first presented on MOSTYN (Llandudno) online in 2020. Another edition was presented at Centrum (Berlin) in 2021.
